“Sunrise” (2017)

Originally composed for a Trumpet Composition Seminar, Sunrise was performed by amazing trumpet teachers at Longy. Most people would consider small pieces like this throwaway now, but looking back years later, I’m amazed I wrote this. Unlike Anger and Depression, there is no major connection between the title and the music being played. It’s just a wonderful piece to listen to.
