Paul William Keefe (b. 1994) is a composer, lyricist, arranger and performer living in Naples, Florida. Paul is also a pianist and a baritone. He has perfect pitch, and plays many songs by ear, most notably jazz and musical theater songs. He studied voice with Jameson James, Ryan Turner, Taylor Ferranti, and the late great Robert Honeysucker. 

His musical The Odyssey, premiered in Bolton Town Beach in 2021, and has been performed multiple times in the United States and the United Kingdom. It is now published with Creative Educational Systems (CES), and is available for use and purchase here. Paul collaborated on the show with director Peter Murphy and playwright Ronn Kistler. Ronn penned the original script with two other playwrights at CES.

Towards the end of 2025, Paul finished the musical he had been working on with Ronn Kistler. Titled Columbus: A World Transformed, the show is now published with CES, and is available for use and purchase here

Paul composed seven songs for Shakespeare’s As You Like It, which premiered at Maynard High School in 2018. It has also been performed as part of “Shakespeare in the Park”. All three shows are ideal choices for junior- & high school students, as well as community drama programs.

His “Lamb of God”, a movement from his Mass of Holiness, premiered in Rome, Italy, in May 2017. The other movements have been performed in numerous Masses in the United States over the years. Other notable compositions and songs include: “Prayer for America”, Hail Mary”, “Jesus: Come and Adore Him”, “Tyger”, “Faithful and True”, “Competition”, and “I am One”.

Originally from Boston, Paul studied Composition at the Longy School of Music (Class of 2017), where he won the Margaret A. Rohde Awardfor Excellence in Music Theory. He later received his Bachelor of Music from Emerson College in 2020. Paul’s music has been performed by Lantern Youth Theatre (UK), WordSong, Horzowski Trio, Ave Maria University Schola Choir, St. Mary’s Church, Imago School, Peter Murphy Players, Montrose School, and St. Benedict’s Classical Academy.

Paul studied Composition with Jeremy Van Buskirk, Paul Brust and Howard Frazin.
